How to clean your menstrual cup
Before first use:
Boil your menstrual cup for 5 minutes to sterilise it.
During your period:
There's no need to boil the cup every time you remove and empty it. Just pour the blood out and rinse the cup with clean water or a cup wash. Then reinsert.
After your period:
Boil your cup for 5 minutes, then store it in a breathable pouch.
Before your next period:
Clean your cup with the cup wash or boil it for 3 minutes before insertion.
On the go:
Clean your menstrual cup with the cup wash when you're away from home. When you return home, boil it before storing it.
Using soap is not necessary but if you prefer to use soap, use a mild, pH-balanced, and fragrance-free soap. Regular hand soap can cause discomfort, irritation, and even infections for some.
Sooo convenient
I use this soap instead of boiling my cup since I already boiled it before keeping it. Saves so much time and feels cleaner too.
